My first answer is "WHY NOT!?"

My second answer is "because it's fun!"

If you dig deeper for reasons I suppose I would have to say that I like the unexpected. I think it's important to break away from "normal" sometimes. Cars are very boring there's are only so many varieties, and to add to the variation, we can get them in different colors, or with a sunroof. And that's supposed to express individuality!!?

I think too many people identify themselves with the price of their car. How "good" of a car can they afford? I'm mocking that. This car is ANTI-pretense. It says "don't take your car so seriously". Mess with it somehow, let go... do something CRAZY and see how much fun it is!

People love it. You get a sense of how mundane it is out there on the road when you see people's reactions to devolution. They smile, they laugh, they wave. We smile, we laugh, we wave back. The world needs more of that.
